The Freedom Lift Guardian™ Swing-Away will fit most medium and large vehicles. Combined scooter, scooter lift, and Guardian™ Swing-Away weights must not exceed the tongue weight limits of your hitch or vehicle. Check with your vehicle manufacturer for hitch tongue weight limits. The Guardian™ Swing-Away will position your scooter lift above the vehicle's hitch. Trunk or tailgate clearance should be at least 3.75" above the center of your vehicle's receiver.
